The Dowpharma bioprocess facility in San Diego, California is a multi-use facility for the production of many kinds of proteins and peptides in microbial expression platforms. In addition to Pfēnex Expression Technology, these platforms include E. coli and yeasts.

Both the upstream and downstream capability and equipment are equally compatible to running processes in these bacterial systems.
